IVENT / INFORMATION
Privacy and cookies
Prepared: 24 October 2026.
This notice covers visiting this website, sending IVent an enquiry and booking a free introductory call. IVent works exclusively with business clients. Personal data belonging to sole traders and business contact persons remains protected by data protection law.
1. Who is responsible?
The controller for enquiries and call arrangements is Irena Vdović, owner of IVent, obrt za podršku poslovanju, Bana Jelačića 20, 44320 Kutina, Croatia, OIB 84348344375, MBO 99182378. Contact irenavdovic.IV@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests.
2. Data, purposes and legal bases
- Business enquiries: your name, email address, business information and message content. We use these to answer your enquiry and discuss possible work. Where you are the prospective contracting party, the basis is steps you request before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For representatives of businesses, the basis is the legitimate interest in responding to requested business enquiries and arranging business contact (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Call bookings: your name, email, chosen time and information you enter in the booking form or send by email. We use these to arrange, confirm and hold your requested call on the bases described above, depending on your role.
- Delivery and security: hosting provider Netlify may process IP addresses, request times and URLs, and browser information to serve the website, resolve errors and prevent abuse. For processing on our behalf, the basis is the legitimate interest in a secure, available website (Article 6(1)(f)).
Providing enquiry and booking details is voluntary. Without contact details we cannot reply; without fields required by Google you cannot complete a booking through its page. You can also email us directly. Please do not include health information, identity documents or confidential client data in introductory enquiries.
3. Google Calendar and Gmail
Bookings take place on an external Google page linked to the owner's personal Google account; a Gmail address is used for contact. The calendar is not embedded and loads only when you open its link. IVent and Google receive booking and communication data through the services used.
For processing for its own purposes, Google applies its Privacy Policy, including information about the responsible Google entity, technical data, cookies and retention. This notice does not replace Google's notices. We do not claim that Google Workspace contractual terms apply to the personal account.
4. Hosting and other recipients
The site is hosted by Netlify. Netlify and its subprocessors may access technical information needed for hosting and infrastructure security. Its Privacy Statement and Data Processing Agreement describe the relevant roles and processing. Data may also be disclosed to competent authorities where legally required, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Processing outside the EEA
Google and Netlify use international infrastructure; processing is not necessarily limited to Croatia or the EEA. Google's transfer information explains adequacy decisions and other mechanisms, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers to Google LLC. Netlify describes its EU–US Data Privacy Framework participation and Standard Contractual Clauses in the documents linked above. The applicable mechanism depends on the recipient, data and contractual terms. Contact us for further information about safeguards and how to obtain copies.
6. Retention
Enquiries and bookings that do not lead to client work are retained for no longer than six months after the last contact. This includes related emails and calendar entries under our control. Deletion is performed manually; this website does not automate deletion.
If a specific record is needed for a legal claim, only the necessary portion is retained until the applicable limitation period expires or, if proceedings are brought, until their final conclusion. It is then deleted unless further retention is legally required. If client work begins, relevant data becomes part of that business relationship and is covered by separate information about processing and retention.
The six-month period does not set Google's or Netlify's own security-log, backup or independent-processing retention. Their published periods and criteria apply to that processing. Retention of hosting logs under our control needs to be aligned with the active Netlify plan and settings.
7. Your rights
Subject to GDPR conditions and the relevant legal basis, you may request access, correction, erasure or restriction. Where processing relies on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Portability applies to data you provide where processing is automated and based on consent or contract. Send requests to the email above; we normally respond within one month. Rights are not absolute: legal obligations or legal claims may limit erasure.
You may complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP). We do not request blanket consent by requiring acceptance of this notice for the enquiries and bookings described.
8. Cookies and tracking
The prepared website code contains no analytics or advertising tools, cookies, local storage, external fonts or embedded Google calendar. Language selection uses links between Croatian and English pages. The website itself has no data-collection form. When you open Google's booking page, its own cookie settings and notices apply.
This description must also match the deployed site's settings. If non-essential cookies or tracking are added later, the notice and prior-consent mechanism must be updated before activation.
9. Automated decisions and changes
The prepared website does not use profiling or automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. Mentioning AI in the service description does not mean this site automatically sends enquiries or bookings to AI tools. This notice does not cover future processing within individual client projects. We will update it when processing changes and directly inform affected people where required.
